To all our friends @ Paul James Salon:
After 30 years of owning and operating Paul James Salon, we have decided to change the direction of our business. It took a lot of soul-searching to come to this decision. We can’t put into words how emotional this process has been. Effective immediately, Paul James Salon will now be Cactus Salon. This change will be a step forward for all our staff and our clients. Cactus Salons (which number 25 locations) have the finances and the strength to move forward into the future with fresh, new ideas and a positive approach toward fashion and style. James and I have worked together at Paul James Salon since February 1978, and Karen joined the team early in 1979. Most recently Alanna came on board in 2005. That makes four of the Gretschel family working together in the family business. It was been a wonderful experience for all of us. Fortunately, we will all continue to work together under the new regime of Cactus Salons. We four Gretschel’s, along with the rest of the staff, will stay at the salon indefinitely to continue servicing our loyal clients and to assure that everyone will be treated even better than before. The Paul James website will stay online for approximately six months and our email address will be available during that time. Feel free to call/email any of us if you have questions or concerns.
